Rae Stoland Weatherby

Mrs. Stoland died Thursday, Aug. 8, 2002, at her home.

She was born Dec. 29, 1912, in Chicago, the daughter of Dr. Ole O. and Murel B. (Ross) Stoland. She was a graduate of Lawrence High School and received her degree in business economics from Kansas University. She was formerly of Warrensburg.

Mrs. Stoland was a homemaker and 50-year member of the P.E.O. Chapter FU of Fort Scott. She was also a member of Holden United Methodist Church and a former member of First Christian Church of Warrensburg.

She married Herbert W. Weatherby on Feb. 21, 1935, in Lawrence, Kan. He died Dec. 10, 1999.

Survivors include four daughters, Judith Rae Parris, Brooklyn, N.Y., Nancy Ruth Loya, Eugene, Ore., Betsy Ann Harvey, Knob Noster, and Sally Weatherby Davidson, Holden; a son, Larry Robert Weatherby, Tampa, Fla.; a brother, Bob Stoland, Topeka, Kan.; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Friends may call until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
