Research reaches across disciplines

Research studies being conducted by the Kansas University Weight Management Programs involves the participation of scientists, experts and students from several departments and schools within the university.

Participants in the research include: Dennis Jacobsen, research scientist with the Schiefelbusch Lifespan Institute; James Grobe, assistant professor, KU department of psychology; and Debra Sullivan, assistant professor, School of Allied Health, Dietetics/Nutrition at Kansas University Medical Center.

Also involved are four KU graduate psychology students, as well as nutrition interns from the Med Center.
