On Saturday, July 20, members of the Burke family were privileged to play Eagle Bend. Even in the scorching heat, it was a real pleasure to see first hand the great community asset the city offers. We commend the city of Lawrence and the Parks and Recreation Department for the great work they do in carrying out Tim’s dream  a public golf course with a country club quality, a friendly staff, and affordable prices. Our compliments to Jim Kane, PGA general manager, and the course superintendent, Kerry Golden.
