Erdine Rablowsky

Memorial Mass for Erdine Rablowsky, 79, Fresno, Calif., formerly of Lawrence, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.

Ms. Rablowsky died Friday, July 19, 2002, at Hinds Hospice Home, Fresno, Calif.

She was born Nov. 29, 1922, in Brookings, S.D., the daughter of Charles and Westina Squires. She spent most of her life in Lawrence, but moved to Fresno in 1995 to be with her sister.

Ms. Rablowsky was a professional seamstress for 50 years. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. She was president of Altar Society and Men and Women’s Widowed Group. She was also a volunteer for Catholic Social Services for several years and a member of Forever Young.

She married Edward Paul Rablowsky. He died earlier.

Survivors include a sister, Blanche Grimm, Fresno, Calif.

The family will receive friends at 10 a.m. Monday before the mass at the church.

The family suggests memorials to K.C. Hospice or the church, sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
