H.F. Patterson

West Point, Ga. Memorial services for H.F. “Mr. Pat” Patterson, 88, Lawrence, Kan., formerly of West Point, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church, West Point. Burial will be in Marseilles Cemetery, West Point.

Mr. Patterson died Sunday, April 28, 2002, at Pioneer Ridge Health Care Center. He moved to Lawrence, Kan., in 1995. He lived at Brandon Woods Retirement Community prior to the Pioneer Ridge Health Care Center.

He was born Feb. 19, 1914, in Tula, Miss., the son of Eugene and Louie (Hill) Patterson.

He worked as a civil engineer at Batson-Cook Company, West Point.

Mr. Patterson was involved in the Stephens Ministry at Plymouth Congregational Church, Lawrence, Kan.

He married Mary Boone on April 6, 1945, in Dallas. She died April 30, 1971.

Survivors include two daughters, Ann Turnbull, Lawrence, Kan., and Virginia Hugley, West Point; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to Stephens Ministry at Plymouth Congregational Church, 925 Vt., Lawrence 66044.
