Youths looking for tips on how to snag a job might find answers to their questions this week at an employment workshop.
Several employers will be on hand at HYPE, a youth job workshop scheduled from 3:45 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Bert Nash Community Mental Health Center, 200 Maine.
Representatives from Dairy Queen, McDonald's and the city of Lawrence all are confirmed to speak or be part of a panel that will provide youths with information on the application process, interviewing and keeping a job.
The workshop is sponsored by Pelathe Community Resource Center, Bert Nash's YESS program and the Lawrence-Douglas County Housing Authority's Resident Services Office.
For more information, contact Caroline Hicks at Pelathe 841-7202.
