Robin Lynn Beasley

Mrs. Beasley died Saturday, April 20, 2002, at her home.

She was born Oct. 14, 1965, in Los Angeles, the daughter of Robert and Barbara (Moore) Knichel. She attended public schools in South Haven, Miss., and graduated from South Haven (Miss.) High School in 1982. She had moved to Lawrence five months ago from Oklahoma.

Mrs. Beasley was a volunteer at Community Drop-In Center, Lawrence.

She married John T. Beasley on Aug. 23, 1992, in Sioux City, Iowa. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include a daughter, Alicia Beasley, of the home; her mother, Barbara Knichel, Atlanta; two brothers, Nick Knichel, Seattle, and Kevin Knichel, Jacksonville, Fla.; two sisters, Kelli Goodman, Jacksonville, Fla., and Bobbi Brown, Mannford, Okla.

The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary.

The family suggests memorials to the Multiple Sclerosis Society-Eastern Kansas Chapter, sent in care of the mortuary.
