James and Diane Slusarski, Duncan, Neb., announce the engagement of their daughter Nicole Slusarski, Lawrence, to Jonathan Price, Lawrence.

The future bride is a 1997 graduate of Columbus High School, Columbus, Neb. She plans to graduate in May from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a bachelor’s degree in education. She is a student teacher at Schwegler School in Lawrence.

The future groom is the son of Glenn and Frieden Price, Chadron, Neb., and Kathleen and Emmett Stovall, Lawrence. He is a 1992 graduate of Lawrence High School. He is the owner of Floyd’s Drain Cleaning.

The couple plan an Aug. 3 wedding at St. Staruslaus Catholic Church in Duncan, Neb.

Mountjoy-Collette

Linda and Don Wildeman, Burlington, and Fred Mountjoy, Kansas City, Mo., announce the engagement of their daughter, Christina Lynn Mountjoy, Burlington, to Tony Bryce Collette, Lawrence, son of Gary Collette, Lawrence, and Lisa Stolzenberg, Clyde.

The couple plan an Oct. 4 wedding at the Bethel Church in Burlington.

LaVaux-Quarles

Erin Kay LaVaux, San Antonio, and Patrick Bryan Quarles, Austin, Tex., announce their engagement.

The future bride is the daughter of Herbert and Ronda LaVaux, Brownwood, Tex. She attended Lubbock Christian University, Lubbock, Tex., and graduated from Haskell Indian Nations University, Lawrence. She is employed with Columbia Healthcare as an information systems technician.

The future groom is the son of Chris and Sandra Quarles, San Antonio. He is a graduate of Southwest Texas University, San Marcos, Tex., and is employed with GT Distributors as a law enforcement light specialist.

The couple plan a July 7 wedding in San Antonio.

Haskell-Streit

Michael and Ella Haskell, Kinsley, and Donald and Carol Streit, Offerle, announce the engagement of their children, Traci Haskell, Baldwin, and David Streit, Gardner.

The future bride graduated from Kinsley High School. She is a senior at Baker University, where she is majoring in psychology.

The future groom is a Kinsley High School graduate. He received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from General Motors Institute in Flint, Mich. He is an industrial engineer at the GM Fairfax plant in Kansas City, Mo.

The couple plan a June 8 wedding at St. Nicholas Church in Kinsley.

Brubaker-Morley

Stephanie Brubaker and Jess Morley, both of Lawrence, announce their engagement along with their parents.

The future bride is the daughter of William Brubaker, Lawrence, and Sandra Ireland, Overland Park.

She is a 1996 graduate of Tonganoxie High School. She is a travel consultant at Travellers Inc.

The future groom is the son of Jack Kimlin and Roberta Kimlin, both of Basehor.

Jess is a 1995 graduate of Basehor High School. He is employed by Turfmasters as a lawn irrigation technician.

The couple plan a May 4 wedding at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lawrence.
