The University Bridge Club announces the winners of its April 13 game, which was hosted by Carolyn and Paul Jordan.

The Blue winners were Dale Kring, first; Karmi Galle, second; Roy Cropp, third; Archie Mills, fourth, and Theda Pierson, fifth.

The Pink winners were Wanda Kring, first; Freddie Nelson, second; Edna Galle, third; Jean Dunn, fourth, and Jean Whitaker, fifth.

The Lawrence 299er Duplicate Bridge Club’s April 10 game was stratified, used the Mitchell movement and was directed by Don Brennaman.

The North-South winners were Frances Vogel and Dorothy Arth, followed by Bobbie Figgins and Eldon Herd. Betty Spalsbury and Glenna Herd placed third. Winners of the B session were Judy Bevan and John Gilbert. Winners of the C session were Ann Thompson and Julie Ward.

The East-West winners were Harry Talley and Don Daugherty, followed by Emily Foster and Albert Ballard. Chuck Hedges and Yvonne Hedges placed third, followed by Helen Fisher and Clarice Broz. Helen Huffman and Robert Huffman placed fifth.

The Lawrence TGIF Duplicate Bridge Club’s April 12 game was stratified, used the Mitchell movement and was directed by Don Brennaman.

The North South winners were Chuck Hedges and Kent McCullough, followed by Patt Radford and Mildred Linley. Chris Lane and Virginia Seaver placed third. Winners of the B session were Don Brennaman and Yvonne Hedges, followed by Cathy Blumenfeld and Michael Blumenfeld.

The East-West winners were Julia Brooks and Wanda Durbin, followed by Klee Zaricky and Sally Taylor. Judy Bevan and Linda Heavin placed third, followed by Mona Bell and Madelyn Jenks.

The Lawrence Duplicate Bridge Club’s April 15 game was stratified, used the Mitchell movement and was directed by Virginia Seaver.

The North-South winners were Bill Hamilton and Don Brennaman, followed by Dave Piro and Robert Solick. Paul Heitzman and Virginia Seaver placed third. Larry Bodle and Kent McCullough tied for fourth place with James Gunn and Harry Shaffer.

The East-West winners were Julia Brooks and Mona Bell, followed by Don Daugherty and Harry Talley. Sally Taylor and Shirlie Vaughn placed third, followed by Chuck Hedges and Yvonne Hedges.
