Anna ‘Margaret’ Erwin

Meriden ? Services for Anna “Margaret” Erwin, 91, formerly of Meriden, will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Barnett’s Meriden Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Mission Center Cemetery, Topeka.

Mrs. Erwin died Thursday, April 18, 2002, at Jefferson County Geriatrics Center in Winchester, where she had lived since 1998.

She was born Jan. 29, 1911, at Auburn, the daughter of Jacob Clinton and Effie May (Price) Myers. She was a longtime Topeka resident before she moved to Meriden, where she lived 21 years.

Mrs. Erwin was a dietary aide and worked at United Methodist Home and Brewster Place Care facility, both in Topeka.

She married Roland B. Erwin on Jan. 28, 1939, at Hiawatha. He died Aug. 8, 1988.

Survivors include a son, Benny J. Erwin, Lecompton; a daughter, Judy Wilke, Meriden; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A grandson also preceded her in death.

Friends may call from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral chapel.
