Clark services

She was born April 22, 1932, in the Black Jack Community near Baldwin, the daughter of Ralph Ingalls and Mary Helen (Breithaupt) Kalb. She attended Black Jack Rural School, and she graduated from Baldwin High School in 1950.

Mrs. Clark was active in 4-H and was a state Key Award winner in 1952. She received a bachelor’s degree in home economics from Kansas State University in 1954. She then went to work as an extension home economist for Osborne and Osage counties before her marriage.

A homemaker, she also helped her husband operate rock quarries for several years. They also farmed and raised livestock in Douglas and Franklin counties.

Mrs. Clark was a member of First United Methodist Church, Baldwin. She was also a 4-H leader.

She married Lyle W. Clark on July 28, 1957, in Baldwin. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include a daughter, Sandra Kramer, McLouth; a son, Jay Clark, Ottawa; two sisters, Dorothy Hallmark, McAllen, Tex., and Laverne Deay, Wellsville; and five grandchildren.

Friends may call after 9 a.m. Wednesday at Lamb-Roberts-Heise Funeral Home, Baldwin, where the family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
