Kansas City, Mo. ? Several programs are being planned in conjunction with the “Eternal Egypt” exhibition at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, 4525 Oak St.

Although admission to the exhibition is with time-and-dated tickets, the educational programs are free and no reservations are required, unless otherwise noted.

Here is a list of events:

Through May 10: “A Passage to Egypt: Making a Traveler’s Book,” adult studio class, for ages 16 and older, 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. Fridays, Creative Arts Center. Cost: $80.

Friday: “Wrapped Up Tight: The Mummiform Image in Egyptian Art,” lecture by John Taylor, assistant keeper in the department of ancient Egypt and Sudan at The British Museum, 7 p.m., Atkins Auditorium.

Saturday: All-day teacher workshop, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Atkins Auditorium. Cost: $30.

April 28: “Mysteries and Myths of Ancient Egypt: Ask the Experts Session for Families,” 2 p.m., Atkins Auditorium.

May 17: “Ancient Egypt Goes to the Movies: Land of the Pharaohs,” film, 6:30 p.m., Atkins Auditorium.

May 24: “Ancient Egypt Goes to the Movies: The Egyptian,” film, 6:30 p.m., Atkins Auditorium.

May 31: “Ancient Egypt Goes to the Movies: Cleopatra,” film, 6:30 p.m., Atkins Auditorium.

June 7: “The Lost City of the Pyramids,” lecture by archeologist Mark Lehner of the Giza Plateau Project excavations, 7 p.m., Atkins Auditorium.
