Maupin Services
Services for John T. “Tad” Maupin Jr., 42, Lawrence, will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Mustard Seed Christian Fellowship. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Maupin died Friday, April 12, 2002, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
He was born July 17, 1959, in Mansfield, Ohio, the son of Ted and Bonnie Maupin. He had lived in Lawrence the past 11 years after moving here from Independence, Mo.
Mr. Maupin had a career as a pressman and printer. He was a member of Mustard Seed Christian Fellowship.
He married Kahla McCulley on March 15, 1985, in Lawrence. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include a son, Andrew, and a daughter, Ashley Maupin, both of the home; his parents, Naples, Fla.; a sister, Toni Lee, California; and his paternal grandmother, Kathryn McCabe, Lawrence.
Friends may call from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
The family suggests memorials to the Educational Fund for the children of Kahla and Tad Maupin, sent in care of the mortuary.
