Dance students present own choreography

Kansas University Dance’s “New Dance, Theatre and Music” concert will focus on student dance performance. The show is at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday in the Elizabeth Sherbon Dance Theatre in the Robinson Center at Kansas University.

Some of the works reflect choreography by students and senior projects, while other works are choreographed by KU dance faculty, such as “Animal Dances” by professor Joan Stone.

In addition, two students will perform a portion of the 19th-century classic pas de deux, “Flower Festival,” by August Bournonville, who was from the Danish Royal Ballet.

Admission is $1; tickets are available at the door.

For more information, call the KU Dance Office, 864-4264.
