Diversity rules this weekend.

The Prairie Wind Dancers will take the stage at the new Lawrence Arts Center, and the Festival of Bands will get the season started at Worlds of Fun in Kansas City, Mo.

The Lied Center will play host to the final day of the KU Jazz Festival tonight and to the Hutchins Consort Sunday afternoon, while Kansas University will be the site of a powwow.
