Gov. Jesse Ventura noncommittal on run for re-election

? Incumbent politicians trying to decide whether to run for re-election often talk about their legacy, their long-term goals or their appetite for the struggles ahead.

But Gov. Jesse Ventura, a former pro wrestler, movie actor and talk-radio host, has made it clear that the lure of private-sector dollars will be a factor in his decision about whether to seek a second term in November.

He reiterated that policy in a radio interview on Tuesday, and said he has no blockbuster entertainment deal in the works that would keep him from running  yet.

“I’m weighing all my options, and I have no option in the private sector right now that would cause me not to run,” Ventura told Minneapolis radio station KFAN. “But I’m not saying I’m not weighing them  I certainly am. … They’re not over  I’m weighing all options.

“Until I say I’m not running, I am,” he told the radio station.
