PRAIRIE VILLAGE ? Sophomore Nathaniel Spencer shot an 8-over-par 80 to lead Lawrence High’s golfers to a fifth-place finish at the Shawnee Mission East Invitational on Monday at rain-soaked Meadowbrook CC.

The Lions finished with 334 strokes. Host Shawnee Mission East won with 319 shots.

Camron Flanders (81), Zach Blevins (86) and Jon Moseley (87) also figured in the score.
