Mary Ellen Terry

WASHINGTON, D.C. ? Memorial services for Mary Ellen Terry, 53, Baldwin, will be announced at a later date. Burial was in Moyrus, Connaght, Co. Galway, Ireland.

Ms. Terry died Tuesday, March 26, 2002, at the National Institutes of Health, Bethesda, Md.

She was born Dec. 19, 1948, in Maidstone, Kent, England, the daughter of Padraic and Anne (Flynn) Greene.

Ms. Terry practiced social work and counseling in London from 1973 to 1980. She was an organic farmer in Douglas County and a member of the Farmers Market. She also served as a volunteer at the Headquarters Counseling Center, Lawrence.

She married Alan Terry in 1982. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include two sisters, Trisha Greene, London, and Kathy Pearsall, Sheffield, England; and friend, Donna Herschfield-White, San Francisco.

Marshall’s Funeral Home, Washington, D.C., is in charge of arrangements.
