Of that amount, 53.75 percent ($107.5 million) will be paid out in prizes to players and 30 percent ($60 million) will go to the state of Kansas. Of the amount going to the state, 85 percent is earmarked for economic development, 10 percent to prison construction and 5 percent to juvenile detention facilities.

The remaining 16.25 percent of the total ($32.5 million) covers administrative costs, vendor contracts and retailer earnings.
