TULSA, OKLA. ? Oral Roberts’ Rene Recio allowed just one hit and struck out 13 as the Golden Eagles hammered Kansas University, 8-0, on Tuesday at Johnson Stadium.

Recio faced just one batter over the minimum. The only hit he allowed was a third-inning single to KU catcher Cole Armstrong, who was thrown out trying to stretch the hit into a double.

The only other Jayhawk to reach base was Casey Spanish, who walked with one out in the eighth.
