Jane Flessing

She was born Nov. 30, 1920, in Buffalo, N.Y., the daughter of Owen and Ethel (Rock) Givens. She grew up in Kenmore, N.Y., and after school worked for the offices of Eastern States Milling.

Mrs. Flessing moved to Lawrence in 1958 with her husband. She was active in Altar Guild at Trinity Episcopal Church and assisted with other church activities. Her hobbies included antiques, cross-stitch and decoupage.

She married Don W. Flessing on Nov. 21, 1942, in Roswell, N.M. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include a son, Doug Flessing, Lawrence; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A son, Donald Owen Flessing, died Jan. 11, 1967.
