Mass of Christian Burial for Martin C. Erazmus, 39, Portland, Ore., will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Mr. Erazmus died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2001, in Colusa, Calif., after a truck accident.
He was born March 27, 1962, in Humbolt, Tenn., the son of Edward and Dorothy Erazmus. He graduated in 1980 from Perry-Lecompton High School. He also attended Kansas University.
Mr. Erazmus was a truck driver for Mercer Industries, Portland.
He married Maria DeJoode on Oct. 24, 1993. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include his parents, Lawrence; a daughter, Corin Erazmus, Portland; two sons, Brandon and Samuel, both of Portland; three sisters, Maria Gibson and Le-Thu Erazmus, both of Lawrence, and May Chilcoat, Eudora; and one brother, Joseph, Lawrence.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary. A rosary and prayer service will be at 7 p.m. Monday at the mortuary, where the family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The family suggests memorials to Birth Right, sent in care of the mortuary.
