KU men in 11th at Ridges tourney

— Kansas University's men's golf team was in 11th place Saturday after two rounds of the Ridges Intercollegiate tournament.

Texas Christian led with 554 strokes. KU was 35 shots back with 589.

KU's Chris Marshall was tied for 28th overall with 145 strokes. He shot a 69 in the first round and 76 in the second round.

TCU's Adam Rubinson led with 133 strokes.

The tournament will end with 18 holes today.




Team scores: Texas Christian 554, Southern California 558, Wake Forest 564, Oklahoma 567, South Carolina 568, East Tennessee State 573, Auburn 574, Tennessee 576, Clemson 581, North Florida 585, Kansas 589, Pepperdine 590, North Carolina 591, Arkansas 594, Houston 598.
