Storms wreaked havoc in the area on Friday night, causing postponements of various football games.
Baldwin High led Wellsville, 7-0, at the conclusion of the first quarter when officials in Baldwin told the teams to leave the field because of lightning in the distance.
Shortly after the teams departed, heavy rains hit, forcing postponement of the game.
The game will resume at 4 p.m. today, weather permitting, with a decision on the site to be made this morning. The game will resume at Baker University, on the Baldwin High practice field or possibly at Wellsville High.
Meanwhile, Oskaloosa bulldozed McLouth in the first half, racking up 189 rushing yards and a 22-0 lead before the rains came at Oskie's field.
A blanketed sky of lighting forced officials to postpone the game after nearly an hour and a half wait. The game will resume today at 10 a.m. at Oskaloosa with two quarters remaining.
