Ottawa's Old Depot Museum is playing host to a traveling exhibit called "Vanishing towns/Vanishing values."

The exhibit features black and white photographs of small-town Kansas in declining population accompanied by American writers' commentary on the advantages and drawbacks of rural life.

Colby Community College, with funding from the Kansas Humanities Council, produced the exhibit.

The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
