Services for Julius F. Waller, 76, Overbrook, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Lawrence. Burial will be in Appanoose Cemetery, Overbrook.
Mr. Waller died Friday, Aug. 31, 2001, in Lawrence.
He was born Dec. 20, 1924, in Lismore, Minn., the son of Frank and Kathryn (Schenkelberg) Waller. He lived in Overbrook the past 11 years.
Mr. Waller served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He owned a certified public accountant practice, J.F. Waller & Co, and retired in 1990. He was a member of Milburn Country Club, Overland Park, and Lawrence Country Club.
He married Frances R. Wilks June 19, 1946, in Little Rock, Ark. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include three daughters, Victoria Howard, Iola, Carol Oster, Wichita, and Susan Waller, Albuquerque, N.M.; a son, Stanley, Lawrence; a brother, Marlon, Washington, D.C.; a sister, Kay Del Favero, Salem, Ohio; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A son, Timothy, died in 1985.
The family will greet friends from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
The family suggests memorial contributions in memory of his son to American Diabetes Assn., sent in care of the mortuary.
