OKLAHOMA CITY Services for Bert L. Sapp, 73, Oklahoma City and formerly of Lawrence, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Smith and Kernke Chapel. Burial will be at 2 p.m. at Blackwell City Cemetery.
Mr. Sapp died Friday, Oct. 26, 2001, in Oklahoma City.
He was born Nov. 17, 1927, in Barry County, Mo., the son of Ancel and Lucille Sapp. After high school, he served in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II.
In 1957, he received a law degree from Oklahoma City University and served as a special agent for the FBI for 26 years. While in the FBI, Mr. Sapp lived in Lawrence for about 20 years. He was a member of the Oklahoma Bar Assn. and the Masonic Lodge.
He married Susan Scallon on June 25, 1951, in Blackwell, Okla. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include a son, Stephen, Dallas; a sister, Alice Voros, Tulsa, Okla.; a brother, Robert, Tulsa; and two grandchildren.
