An Oct. 6 etiquette clinic, "Putting on the Ritz," was led by 4-H ambassadors. Tickets for the Douglas County 4-H Achievement Banquet were given to members who completed their record books.

The club plans to have an officer training and hot-dog roast in November. Club members will celebrate 4-H Sunday at Christ Community Church. The Price family will be host.

The club conducted a special ceremony to recognize members who entered projects at the Kansas State Fair. It was announced that the club's blood drive in July was the most successful 4-H blood drive in Douglas County. Members were reminded to wear their 4-H T-shirts to school during 4-H Week.

Hosts were members of the Bronoski family.

The club's next meeting is Nov. 6 at Kanwaka Hall.
