Mr. Domann died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2001, at his home.
He was born Nov. 26, 1919, at the family farm in Mooney Creek, the son of Joseph and Mary Domann. He attended Corpus Christi Grade School and graduated from Winchester High School in 1937. He worked at the family farm, taking over ownership in 1960. He also worked at Rockwell Manufacturing, Atchison; at Fort Leavenworth and the federal prison in Leavenworth, and at the BPO General Motors plant, Kansas City, Kan.
Mr. Domann was a lifelong member of Corpus Christi Church and a charter member of the Knights of Columbus, Council No. 2885.
He married Margaret Rogers on April 15, 1941, in Mooney Creek. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include five sons, Wayne, Leavenworth, Mike, Atchison, and Dean, Richard and Dennis, all of Winchester; five daughters, Pat McAfee, Council Grove, Michelle Hattemer, Oskaloosa, Karen Hill, Leavenworth, and Peggy Coppinger and Sheryl Coppinger, both of Winchester; 35 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.
Two grandsons, Robert John and Ryan Lee, died earlier.
Friends may call after 8 a.m. Friday at Barnett Funeral Home, Oskaloosa, where the family will receive friends from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Friday. A prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m.
