A fragment from the Leonids meteor shower streaks straight down (top of photo) through a field of rotating stars. The Nov. 18 shower was a once-in-a-lifetime celestial event for sky watchers. The photo was a 15-minute exposure shot in Eudora using a 44mm lens with a 4.0 aperture.
