Osawatomie Services for Ruth Adeline Aiken Phillips, 75, Osawatomie, will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Louisburg United Methodist Church, Louisburg. Burial will be in Bucyrus Cemetery, Bucyrus.

Mrs. Phillips died Monday, Nov. 26, 2001, at Life Care Center.

She was born Aug. 16, 1926, in Louisburg, the daughter of Cyrus Solomon and Leura Whitaker Aiken.

Mrs. Phillips worked most of her adult life in the Kansas City, Mo., area as a housekeeper, then later as a clerk at Goodwill and Salvation Army stores.

She attended Westport Methodist Church and Louisburg United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Eastside HDU Club, Louisburg United Methodist Women and Louisburg Methodist Willing Workers.

She married Fred H. Phillips on Oct. 16, 1971, in Louisburg. He died Sept. 19, 1974.

Other survivors include four brothers, Earl A. Aiken, Sweet Springs, Mo., David W. Aiken, Lawrence, Harold T. Aiken and Cyrus H. Aiken, both of Louisburg; and a sister, Elma Link, Stillwell.

Visitation was Wednesday at Runyan Chapel, Louisburg.

The family suggests memorials to the church, sent in care of Runyan Funeral Home, 120 S. Broadway, Louisburg 66053.
