She was born July 4, 1922, in Jay, Okla., the daughter of Jesse Leon and Dobie Ollie (Miller) Rogers.
Mrs. McRae-Hunter was the owner of Mode O'Day Clothing Store, Salina. She retired in 1988.
She married Taylor J. McRae on Feb. 28, 1942, in Newton. He died in 1969. She married Roy Hunter on Dec. 18, 1992, in Salina. He died in 2000.
Survivors include a son, Kenneth T. McRae, Colorado Springs, Colo.; two daughters, Michelle Barta, Lawrence, and Debbie McRae, Salina; a brother, D.E. "Red" Rogers, Benton, Ky.; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
