Memorial services for Jessie Lee Harris, 95, Lawrence, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Episcopal Church. Interment will be in Clinton Cemetery.
Mrs. Harris died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2001, at Colonial Manor, Lawrence. She had been a resident of Lawrence for the past 10 years after moving here from Enid, Okla.
She was born Sept. 28, 1906, in McLennan County, Tex., the daughter of Miles and Maria (Moore) Worsham.
Mrs. Harris worked as an executive secretary for many years before moving to Lawrence.
She also was a housemother at Sigma Nu fraternity at the University of Arkansas for several years and was a past volunteer for the Hospital Auxiliary, Enid.
She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church.
She married James O. Harris in 1940 in Dallas. He died in 1960.
Survivors include a stepdaughter, Gail Griffin, Lawrence; a stepson, Jim Harris, Enid; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
The family suggests memorials to Trinity Episcopal Church, sent in care of the mortuary.
