It was a good day for schools in Eudora and Baldwin.
Unofficial vote tallies counted Tuesday night showed voters approved school bond issues in both cities.
Baldwin voters approved an $8 million bond issue, with 863 to 284. The bonds are to build a new elementary school and renovate other school buildings.
Eudora voters approved a $16 million bond issue on a vote of 753 to 423. The Eudora bond issue will be used to build a new 500-student capacity high school and rearrange the Eudora school district's elementary and junior high students.
