Oskaloosa Services for Frances Stevens Bellamy, 84, Oskaloosa, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Oskaloosa United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Winchester-Wise Cemetery, Winchester.

Mrs. Bellamy died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2001, at Manor Nursing Home, Kansas City, Kan.

She was born Aug. 14, 1917, in Easton, the daughter of Frank and Florence (Clapper) Phillips. She attended Easton High School. She lived in Oskaloosa since 1990, moving there from Leavenworth.

Mrs. Bellamy was a homemaker and farmer for many years in the Winchester and McLouth area. She also served as caretaker for Winchester-Wise Cemetery and served as a bus driver for Jefferson County Senior Service Organization for seven years. She also worked with American Red Cross.

She was a member of Oskaloosa United Methodist Church and American Legion Auxiliary Unit No. 36, Oskaloosa.

She married Claude Ray Stevens on Oct. 12, 1933, in Oskaloosa. He died April 8, 1981. She married Elza "Ed" Bellamy on Sept. 11, 1990, in Oskaloosa. He died Aug. 2, 2001.

Survivors include two sisters, Elsie Jennings, Auburn, and Velma Walker, Topeka; two step-sons, Ronald Bellamy, Clinton, Tenn., and Theo Bellamy, Charlotte, N.C., two stepdaughters, Barbara Akridge, Shawnee, and Terah Wieland, Kansas City, Kan.; 10 stepgrandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.

Two sons, Eugene Stevens and Dale Stevens, died earlier.

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time Friday at the church.
