A Haskell Indian Nations University sophomore will reign as Miss Haskell.
Carla Feathers was announced Friday night as the new title-holder during the annual powwow at Haskell.
Feathers is a member of the Pawnee and Cherokee tribes.
Second attendant was Natalie Suan, a freshman and member of the Alaskan Tlingit tribe. Third attendant is junior Ashley Young Bird, a member of the Potawatomie and Four Affiliate tribes.
Miss Haskell is selected on the basis of a talent presentation and judging by a 12-judge panel and votes compiled from participating Haskell students, faculty and staff.
