Jermaine Dye went 4-for-4 with two home runs and six RBIs to lead Kansas City past Florida 9-6 Friday.
Dye hit a three-run home run in the third inning off losing pitcher Brad Penny (0-1) and a solo shot in the sixth off Armando Almanza. Dye also had run-scoring singles in the first and fourth innings.
Dye leads the Royals this spring with a .379 batting average, seven homers and 23 RBIs.
The Royals have won six straight and eight of nine to improve their spring record to 16-10, tying the New York Mets for the best record in the Grapefruit League.
