Womack Winner: Allison Womack of Kansas School of Gymnastics won the Level 5 all-around at the meet in Olathe with a score of 34.8. Teammate Sara Hase was second at 34.0. Morgan Harris was fourth at 33.4. In Level 6, KSG's April Miller was fourth with a score of 33.95.

Baldwin Matman Second: Kyle Flory of the Baldwin Wrestling Club finished second in the U-14, 165-pound weight class at the Kansas Kids Championships last weekend in Topeka. Baldwin's Gabe Mason was third in the U-10 110-pound division while teammate Kevin Callahan finished fifth in the U-12 100-pound category.

Baldwin Benefit Slow-Pitch: A coed slow-pitch tournament to benefit special needs children is scheduled May 12-13 in Baldwin. Entry deadline is April 20. For information, call Michelle Leeker at 785 594-2744.

Bregman Takes Gold: Scott Bregman of Lawrence Gymnastics Academy won the ages 12-13 Class IV all-around at the State Gymastics Championships last Saturday in Kansas City. Bregman qualified for the regional meet next Friday in San Antonio.

Orchards Duffers: Orchards Golf Course's Duffers League will begin next Wednesday. All league play will begin at 5 p.m. For information, call Chuck Mead at 842-1560.

Serenata Golf Benefit: Serenata Farms School of Equestrian Arts will stage a golf benefit for special needs children on April 22 at Topeka's Western Hills. Entry deadline is next Wednesday. For information, call Marty Newell at 887-6441.

Kellerman Second: Nolan Kellerman of Lawrence Wrestling Club earned a silver medal at the Kansas Kids Championships last weekend in Topeka. LWC's Jesse Hardy and Shane Grant earned bronze medals while Marc Somers picked up a fourth.

KGS Gold Medalist: Sindra Scheuler of Kansas School of Gymnastics won a Level 8 all-around at a meet last weekend in Olathe. Seconds went to KSG's Audrey Schenewerk and Genny Salvatore. Carol Fittell had a third and Kelsey Richardson a fifth.

Bogard Tosses No-Hitter: Johnson County CC sophomore pitcher Brett Bogard, a Free State High product, tossed a no-hitter against Cedar Valley College on Friday. It was the fourth no-hitter in JCCC baseball history and the first since 1994.
