Bryant still ailing

El Segundo, Calif. Kobe Bryant sat out Wednesday night's game against Sacramento, the fourth straight game he has missed for the Lakers because of a sprained left ankle. Team spokesman John Black said Wednesday that Bryant, the NBA's third-leading scorer with a 29.2 point average, was also doubtful for Friday night's game against Dallas at Staples Center. Bryant injured his ankle, which has bothered him at various times this season, late in the Lakers' 107-100 loss at Milwaukee last Wednesday. Los Angeles is 6-3 without Bryant this season.

Geiger may leave Sixers

Philadelphia Philadelphia 76ers fans have been relentlessly booing Matt Geiger for months. And the 7-foot center might leave because of it.
