X-rays show Dreher
didn't break wrist
Kansas University senior baseball left fielder Doug Dreher, who collided with teammate John Nelson pursuing a fly ball in KU's 6-5 loss to Arkansas on Tuesday, did not break his wrist, X-rays showed Wednesday.
"That was a scary moment," KU coach Bobby Randall said. "We all thought it was broken, because it was so sore. Now they say it's just a severe sprain or a jam. They don't have a timetable, but he'll be out for a while."
KU will play host to Texas this weekend.
