The Jayhawks, who carded a 302 during the final round, finished the 54-hole event with a total of 899 strokes. KU, which was tied with Tulsa after Monday's 36-hole first round, notched its third victory of the season.
KU junior Travis Hurst posted his second victory by carding a 1-under-par 71 during the final round for a total of 213. Hurst also won the Purina Classic last fall.
"It was very windy and conditions were not good," KU coach Ross Randall said. "We certainly did not play our best, but it is nice to have both a team and individual win. I am very pleased.
"Travis really played well," Randall added. "He had three great rounds."
KU sophomore Chris Marshall finished in a tie for seventh (76-74-75--225) while junior Casey Harbour and senior Conrad Roberts tied for 24th-place at 233. Senior Andy Stewart finished in a tie for 28th and freshman Tyler Hall, who played as an individual, tied for 61st-place at 244.
The Jayhawks will travel to Santa Cruz, Calif., on April 2-3 for the 55th Western Intercollegiate at Pasatiempo Golf Club.
