Mrs. Foster died Monday, March 26, 2001, at Eudora Nursing Center.
She was born Sept. 10, 1918, in Girard, the daughter of James. W. Sr. and Blanche O'Neil (Goodwin) Calvert. She moved to Lawrence in 1929 from Girard.
Mrs. Foster was a homemaker and attended Clinton Parkway Assembly of God.
She married Fred Foster Dec. 24, 1936, in Lawrence. He died Nov. 26, 1970.
Survivors include two daughters, Eunice LaDean Lee, Trenton, N.J., and Loretta Ann James, Lawrence; a son, James W. Foster, Lawrence; 12 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
Two sons, Dale Kenneth Foster in September 1998 and John Darrell Foster in September 1997, died earlier.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorials to American Heart Assn., sent in care of the funeral home.
