Pathfinder award

Former Lawrence High volleyball coach Joan Wells, who still teaches physical education at LHS, has been selected the Kansas representative for the National Assn. for Girls and Women in Sport Pathfinder Award.

The award recognizes contributions to girls and women in sport.

The Pathfinder Award will be presented Friday in Cincinnati.

Correction

Due to information provided to the Journal-World, Matt Schwabauer's name was misspelled in the Free State High boys tennis preview in Monday's paper.
