Iverson back on court

Home after five straight losses, four on the road, the 76ers are not panicking. They're just concerned. And after listening to coach Larry Brown Sunday, there are legitimate reasons for both calm and concern.

Allen Iverson practiced Sunday, going hard for the first time in nearly two weeks. He is questionable for tonight's game against Milwaukee.

"I am going to dress for the game," he said. "I'll be there."

That may be good news for the team, but Aaron McKie's chronic shoulder problems and Eric Snow's problems with his right ankle and with a lack of conditioning are not.

In addition, his teammates' thoughts are with Matt Geiger. The 7-foot-1 center was excused from practice Sunday to be with his ailing brother, Mark. Brown said that Geiger would play tonight and that the Sixers would wait to see if Iverson would not only dress but play.

The coach also said that he might have to think about how much pain Snow can endure in his ankle as the season heads into the homestretch.

As of Sunday, however, the biggest concern was Iverson's condition. Getting the NBA's leading scorer back in the lineup would help matters immensely, assuming that there would be no great risk of his aggravating the injury.
