Services for Elaine Sage, 78, Lawrence, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Sage died Sunday, March 25, 2001, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
She was born Feb. 25, 1923, in Minneapolis, Minn., the daughter of Lannie Forest Norris and Effie Bell (Graven) Norris.
Mrs. Sage grew up in Minneapolis and attended West High School. She moved in 1964 to Woodland Hills, Calif., then in 1988 to Lawrence.
She was the chief executive officer of Sage Systems Inc., which was founded by her husband. The firm manufactured central spray cleaning systems for commercial use.
She married Thomas L. Sage in Minneapolis. He died March 13, 1982.
Survivors include two sons, Bill Sage, Bentonville, Ark., and Bob Sage, Rogers, Ark.; a daughter, Sue Simmons, Lawrence; a brother, Lannie Norris Jr., Minneapolis; two sisters, Mavis Packard and Barbara Simmons, both of Minneapolis; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and Tuesday until service time at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home, where the family will greet them from 1 p.m. Tuesday until service time.
