Huey and the legal news

A legal battle over the theme to "Ghostbusters" is back to haunt musician Huey Lewis. Singer-songwriter Ray Parker Jr. is suing Lewis for allegedly violating a confidentiality clause in a legal agreement the two had reached in a previous lawsuit over the hit song "Ghostbusters."

In 1984, Lewis sued Parker and several other parties, claiming Parker plagiarized Lewis' hit "I Want a New Drug" in composing "Ghostbusters."

The parties reached an agreement in 1995 that included a confidentiality clause, according to Parker's suit filed Thursday. Parker alleged that Lewis violated that agreement by discussing the suit on the VH1 series "Behind the Music."

Travis home items up for auction

If you've always wanted to wear Randy Travis' kilt, the time has come for action. Hundreds of items from the country singer's former Tennessee home in Cheatham County were up for auction this weekend in Brentwood, Tenn. The singer's Scottish costume, with kilt, socks, two tams and bagpipes, started the bidding at $500.

Travis and wife, Elizabeth Hatcher, are building a ranch estate in Sante Fe, N.M., where they already own a home, said spokesman Jason Padgett.

The auction consists of items they don't want to move from the Cheatham County house they recently sold, he said. Other items to be auctioned include clothing, exercise equipment and furniture.

Beauty and the Brandy

Brandy is the "new face of beauty" in the eyes of 1,300 cosmetic-industry executives, but to her, beauty comes from within.

"Beauty is from the inside," she tells The Associated Press. "There are a lot of 'beautiful' people who are not so beautiful because they're not nice. And there are a lot of really beautiful people who go unrecognized."

Nonetheless, the 22-year-old singer-actress still looked the part of a fashion-and-beauty favorite when she received her award from the Cosmetic Executive Women group this week.

Brandy, the star of "Moesha" and a Grammy-winner, also is a model for Cover Girl.

Yoga bug bites Jackman

Actor Hugh Jackman has a new passion, thanks to his "Kate & Leopold" co-star Meg Ryan. "Meg's really turned me on to yoga," Jackman told People magazine. "I'm becoming a fanatic. I may end up like Sting."

Jackman explained that a friend was seated behind the yoga-obsessed rock star on a recent flight to London. "All my friend could see was two legs sticking up in the air. He looked over the seat, and there was Sting doing yoga for hours! "So if you see long, hairy legs on a plane, it could be me."

Jackman, 32, was one of the stars of "X-Men." His new film with Ashley Judd and Greg Kinnear, "Someone Like You," opens Friday.
