Jobbins services

— Services for William C. Jobbins, 56, Winchester, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Winchester United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Winchester-Wise Cemetery.

Mr. Jobbins died Friday, March 23, 2001, at his home.

He was born April 29, 1944, in Winfield, the son of James Edward and Winifred Ruth (Cory) Jobbins. He had lived in Winchester since 1971, moving there from Leavenworth.

Mr. Jobbins was a graduate of St. John's Military Academy in Salina and attended Kansas Wesleyan University, Salina.

Mr. Jobbins was a crew chief in the shipping and receiving store for Trans World Airlines in Kansas City, Mo. He retired March 1 after 33 years of service.

He was a member of Winchester United Methodist Church and International Machinists Union in Kansas City.

He was married to Carol "Jean" Coppinger on Nov. 24, 1963, in Winchester. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include his mother, Winifred R. Jobbins, Highlands, N.C.; four sons, Russell and Richard, both of Winchester, Jason, Colwich, and Justin, Kansas City, Mo.; a sister, Kathy Kramer, Highlands, N.C.; and six grandchildren.

Friends may call after 8 a.m. Monday at Barnett Funeral Home, Oskaloosa, where the family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday.
