Topeka — Police released the names Thursday of a man and two women found shot to death inside an east Topeka home this week.
Willie C. Thrower, 48, Marilyn Z. Monroe, 39, and Stephanie S. Mendez, 38, were all residents of Topeka, police said.
The house in which officers found their bodies Tuesday is in a neighborhood known for drug activity.
The home was within a block of where shots were fired late Sunday night, killing Emilio F. Esquibel, 18. He was found dead in the front seat of his car.
Police Lt. John Sidwell said investigations continue but no suspects had been identified.
Topeka has had eight homicides this year.
