To the editor:
With the pace and pulse of a pulpit pounding preacher Mr. Winn's diatribe screamed and shuddered from the page of Saturday's LJ-W. In meat, meter and measure it mimicked the message as well: SHAME! Shame on Dennis Moore (who chooses not to march in lockstep with the Kansas Republican delegation to Congress). Shame on "pseudo-Republicans" (who likewise voted their conscience rather than the party line). Basically, shame on anyone who doesn't agree with ME!
Just thought I'd counter with THANK YOU Rep. Moore for representing the constituents who elected you no matter how small a voice in the wilderness. THANK YOU for not supporting a return to the failed policies of fattening the rich in the guise of "trickle down economics." THANK YOU for championing the interests of the working folks against those of the polluters and exploiters.
