Bogdanovich in divorce court

The wife of producer-director Peter Bogdanovich has filed court papers citing irreconcilable differences to end their 12-year marriage.

Bogdanovich, 61, directed the 1971 film "The Last Picture Show" with Cybill Shepherd and 1985's "Mask." He has a recurring role as a psychiatrist on "The Sopranos."

'Almost Famous' actress always knew she'd be famous

She's only 21, and she's already nominated for an Oscar. Is Kate Hudson looking forward to a long career in films?

"I knew what I was going to do, and I knew I'd have my own career. And so did my mother," Hudson, daughter of actress Goldie Hawn, said. Hudson is nominated for best-supporting actress for her role in "Almost Famous." What's her key to long-term success in acting?

"I think it is about the choices you make and the talent you have as an actor," Hudson said. "And then there's also a part of it I've learned from my parents, which is that you can't ever take it too seriously. You have nothing to do with this machine. Nothing. Your work does; you don't."
